Standard Cleaning Checklist

For maintaining cleanliness and tidiness on a regular basis.

General Areas (Living Rooms, Dining Room, Hallways, etc.):

• Dust all surfaces (shelves, tables, baseboards, light fixtures, lampshades)
• Dust window frames and sills
• Dust doors, door frames, and disinfect door knobs/handles
• Dust all furniture and disinfect surfaces
• Clean under furniture cushions
• Fluff and straighten pillows, cushions, and furniture
• Wipe down all mirrors and glass surfaces
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Vacuum carpets, stairs, and rugs
• Sweep and mop hard floors
• Empty trash bins

Kitchen:

• Wipe down and disinfect countertops and backsplash
• Clean exterior of appliances (microwave, refrigerator, oven)
• Clean interior of refrigerator (ADD-ON Item)
• Clean stovetop
• Clean inside the oven (ADD-ON Item)
• Clean inside the microwave (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe down exterior cabinets and drawers
• Wipe down interior cabinets (ADD-ON Item)
• Clean and sanitize sink
• Load/unload the dishwasher (ADD-ON Item)
• Dust furniture, tables, and chairs
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Sweep and mop floors
• Empty trash and replace liners

Bedrooms:

• Beds made (change linens if customer left them on top of bed)
• Dust all furniture and headboards
• Clean mirrors
• Dry dust baseboards
• Dust light fixtures and lampshades
• Clean doors, door frames. Clean and disinfect door handles/knobs
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Vacuum carpet, rugs, or clean wooden floors (under the bed if accessible)

Bathrooms:

• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and countertops
• Wipe down mirrors and glass
• Clean shower, tub, and faucets
• Clean soap dishes and toothbrush holders
• Replace towels if requested
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Sweep and mop floors
• Empty trash and replace liners

Deep Cleaning Checklist

A thorough clean designed for areas that need extra attention or have built-up grime.

General Areas (Bedrooms, Living Rooms, Hallways, etc.):

• Dust all surfaces, including ceiling fans, light fixtures, and vents
• Wipe baseboards, doors, and door frames
• Clean and sanitize light switches and door handles
• Vacuum under furniture and cushions
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Polish furniture
• Vacuum carpets and rugs
• Sweep and mop floors

Kitchen:

• Wipe down all surfaces, including countertops and backsplash
• Clean exterior and interior of appliances (microwave, refrigerator, oven)
• Clean stovetop, including burner trays and knobs
• Wipe down exterior cabinets and drawers
• Wipe down interior cabinets (ADD-ON Item)
• Scrub sink and faucet, including draining board
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Sweep and mop floors, including corners
• Empty trash and sanitize bin

Bathrooms:

• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and countertops
• Clean shower, tub, grout, and fixtures
• Scrub and disinfect tile walls
• Wipe down mirrors and glass
• Wipe down cabinets (interior and exterior)
• Clean soap dishes, toothbrush holders, and other accessories
• Wipe and clean walls (ADD-ON Item)
• Wipe clean interior windows (ADD-ON Item)
• Sweep and mop floors, including grout lines
• Empty trash and sanitize bin

Move In/Out Cleaning Checklist

The home or apartment must be vacant with power/electricity and running water.

General Areas (Bedrooms, Living Rooms, Hallways, etc.):

• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets and rugs
• Dry dust baseboards
• Clean inside closets & shelves
• Clean doors, door frames, clean and disinfect door handles/knobs
• Empty trash and replace bag (if available)

Kitchen and Laundry Room:

• Disinfect sinks and countertops
• Clean and sanitize the stovetops and stove fan
• Wipe the outside of the refrigerator and polish stainless steel, if necessary
• Clean exterior cabinets and disinfect handles
• Clean interior cabinets. Must be emptied. (ADD-ON Item)
• Clean inside the pantry. Must be emptied.
• Clean inside the oven (ADD-ON Item)
• Clean and sanitize inside the refrigerator. Must be emptied. (ADD-ON Item)
• Clean and sanitize the stovetop and hood
• Sweep and mop floor (natural stone, tile, laminate, vinyl, linoleum, and hardwood)
• Clean the exterior of the washer, dryer, and dryer lint trap
• Empty trash and replace bag

Bathrooms:

• Scrub and disinfect bathtub
• Scrub and disinfect shower stall and shower doors
• Clean and sanitize toilet
• Scrub and disinfect sinks and vanity
• Clean exterior cabinets and disinfect handles
• Clean interior cabinets. Must be emptied. (ADD-ON Item)
• Disinfect faucets, doorknobs, and chrome fixtures
• Clean mirrors
• Clean and disinfect paper holders and towel racks
• Sweep and mop floor
• Dry dust baseboards
• Empty trash and replace bag (if available)
